Galleon Travel joined BUSK Benchmark to enable a working partnership with BUSK and to keep up to date with any new legislation regarding school travel. Our Company work hard to provide a first class service and a memorable experience for our customers who travel with us and our professional drivers are trained in all aspects of coaching work. Management contact Matt Bowden Established since 2009 Drivers & Training Galleon Travel employ 6 full and 3 part time drivers and all are D & B checked. Drivers are experienced in driving abroad and trained in Drivers Hours, Customer Care, Manual Handling, Working With Others, Digitial Tachographs.  Maintenance In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop managed by Vehicles safety inspected every days.  Members of BUSK Benchmark, Confederation of Passenger Transport UK. Profits are reinvested into company to maintain safety standards Galleon Travel is a family run business based on the Hertfordshire and Essex borders. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and duty of care towards our passengers. As parents and grandparents ourselves we know nothing is more important than safety! The Company run a fleet of vehicles from 16 seat mini buses right up to 86 seat double deck coaches for hire in the UK and for continental tours. All drivers are experienced in driving abroad and have enhanced DBS certificates. Galleon Travel has a rigorous drug and alcohol policy in place. Our drivers work with teachers on all school trips to ensure they get the best out of their trip. Nothing is too much trouble.  Our drivers are trained in all aspects of transporting passengers including training in emergency procedures in the unlikely event that they would be needed. We have 24-hour helpline should there ever be an issue to ensure our customers are able to get straight through to a Duty Supervisor.
