Prospect Coaches is one of the largest independent companies in the West Midlands. We specialise in school transport, having over 250 schools who regularly use our services. All drivers are directly employed by us and wear the company uniform with pride. Our motto is ‘Schools R Us’. Fleet Fleet of 50 coaches, seating capacity from 32 to 70. All our coaches are fitted with Green Road tracking, Wifi and each is fitted with Alcolocks to prohibit coach engines from being started if any alcohol is detected on a driver's breath.
Drivers Prospect Coaches employs 44 full and 4 part time drivers.
Training Drivers trained in on-going CPC modules to include SAFED, First Aid, Pats, Chaps.
Maintenance In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop facilities carried out by five full time vehicle mechanics. Vehicles safety inspected every 4 weeks.

Schools R Us is the motto of the three generations now heading the Prospect team. Geoff Watts, the founder is still at the helm of the company together with his daughter Roslyn, joint Managing Director and grandsons Nathan and Martin, Transport Manager and Fleet Engineer respectively.
Our fleet are both modern and comfortable, with some coaches a capacity for up to 70 passengers. Our customer base with almost two hundred and fifty schools using the Company’s services.
Prospect’s entire fleet consists of smart modern coaches dedicated to provide a high class of transport to it’s customers. When asked why so much investment has been made to transport predominately school children, Roslynd has always insisted that the children of today are the potential clients of tomorrow and firmly believes that if the children are transported in clean modern vehicles they are more likely to respect both the coach and the drivers.
Company drivers are all smartly dressed in corporate uniforms that carry our distinctive logo. Drivers hold enhanced DBS certificates and Child Protection level one qualified and many of the 51 employees hold NVQ’s, some up to level 5 as well as receiving First Aid training and other professional qualifications. Each driver is issued with a mobile phone and the company ‘BIBLE’ containing all the routes and timetables of the many contracts carried out by the Company.
The company has gained Investor In People status and ISO 9001:2000 accreditation along with being rated amongst some of the top companies in the UK coaching industry by the Plimsoll financial analysis charts and a top four placing in Route One Operator Excellence Awards 2009 and 2010, Large Coach Operator Of The Year category with a highly commended award. Route One's Excellence award for Coach Engineer of The Year 2012 went to Martin Hadley.
The retention rate of contracts and private hire work undertaken is extremely high and it is believed that this is due to the respect shown to all customers from all of the employees.
