As a family run company, passenger safety is of the utmost importance to us here at Country Lion. This is the reason we joined BUSK Benchmark. Country Lion welcomes the opportunity to help promote the BUSK Benchmark ethic in the Northampton area and further afield.

Established since: 1966
Fleet: Fleet of 44 coaches with a seating capacity of 25 to 70.
Drivers: Country Lion employ 29 full and 17 part time drivers.
Training: Drivers trained in on-going CPC modules and have completed training in Driver Hours, Digital Tachographs, Staying Legal, Customer Services & The School Run, Eco Safe Driving, Drivers Regulations & Working Time Directive.
Maintenance: In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop managed by Mr. D. A. O'Dell, Director. Vehicles safety inspected and roller brake tested every six weeks (every 42 days).
Members of: BUSK Benchmark, Confederation of Passenger Transport UK.
Profits are re-invested into business to maintain safety standards.
Country Lion has been operating coaches in Northampton since 1966.The company has always been involved in operating school contracts and a variety of private hire work. Recent years have seen Country Lion expand into new premises at Brackmills in Northampton and the setting up of a successful coach holiday company, Cloud Nine Holidays. In 2013 we opened an ATF station at our premises.
