Coastal Coaches joined BUSK Benchmark to help drive home the safety aspect of coach travel. This will not only benefit our Company, but only serve to increase the safety of all our customers when they are organising trips, especially schools.

Fleet: Fleet of 11 coaches with a seating capacity from 16 to 53.
Drivers: Coastal Coaches employ 20 full PSV drivers.
Training: Drivers trained in on-going CPC modules and have completed training in Defensive Driving, Digital Tachograph & Drivers’ Hours, Emergency Procedures, Customer Care, Disability Awareness, Alcohol & Drug Awareness & Sleep Deprivation, Customer Care. Specific drivers also have EDI Level 2 NVQ in Passenger Carrying Vehicle Driving.
Maintenance: In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop managed by VOSA trained staff and Mercedes-Benz Accredited Dealers. Vehicles safety inspected every 6 weeks.

Profits are re-invested into business to maintain safety standards.
Coastal Coaches is committed to providing an excellent standard of service. All drivers are uniformed and have enhanced CRB clearance (now Vetting and Barring). The Company provide regular services for local private schools, and undertake many trips for schools in both the state and private sector.
Husband and wife Bill and Helen Holder have been trading as Coastal Coaches for over ten years, operating a fleet of extensively maintained Mercedes Benz coaches with a variety of seating capacities from 16 to 53 seats. As well as being members of the Confederation of Passenger Transport, Coastal Coaches are one of only six North-West operators to have gained the prestigious CoachMarque recognition. CoachMarque is the “kite mark” of quality awarded for the highest standards of operation in all aspects of coach hire.
While we do undertake contract work the majority of our journeys are single trips, usually booked by returning customers. Over the years we have built up an outstanding reputation with our extensive customer base and continuously provide superior safety for all our clients.
