Taf Valley Coaches decided to join BUSK Benchmark, as it makes perfect sense to raise safety awareness to as many schools, educational professionals and the general public as possible.
BUSK is a recognised national independent body that promote safe coach travel and Taf Valley regards membership of Benchmark as one way it can show that it cares about it's customer's safety. The Company has met BUSK's rigorous qualifying criteria to be accepted onto the scheme and we are proud to work to the highest standards we can.

Drivers Taf Valley Coaches employ 14 full and 8 part time drivers.
Training Drivers trained in on-going CPC modules and have completed training in SWWITCH School Transport Driver, Emergency First Aid, Road Safety & Fuel Efficient Driving, Digital Tachograph & Driving Hours, Daily Walk-around Checks, Defect Reporting & Safety Loading.
Maintenance In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop managed by Ken Evans, Head Mechanic and overseen by Clive Edwards, Director. Vehicles safety inspected every 4 weeks.
Members of BUSK Benchmark, Confederation of Passenger Transport, Federation of Small Businesses.
Profits are re-invested into business to maintain safety standards.
Taf Valley Coaches is a family run business, established in 1990. Starting with just one coach and one school contract, the Company now we operate a varied fleet, ranging from 24 to 70 seaters including our front line high quality executive coaches. The fleet is updated on a regular basis.
